Leigh Photography wants to make your experience with us a pleasant
one. We do this by ensuring that all the details about what we are to
provide to you is well defined and explained. Our disclaimer is
designed to answer every question possible to our clients.
Using
Shannon Leigh Photography
Shannon
Leigh Photography requires a 50% deposit to secure a photographic or
videography session for a specific date and time. The deposit is
non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 10 days prior to the
scheduled event. Failure to pay balance by its due date may result in
losing the scheduled date to other paying client requests.
We
understand that schedules are often hard to keep and tardiness is
often inevitable. For this reason, Shannon Leigh Photography will
allow a 30 minute grace period, and will charge $65 for every 30
minutes thereafter.
Photographic or videography sessions requiring more than 40 miles of
travel from our location will incur a travel charge of $ 0.75 per
mile, based on odometer readings in our vehicles.
Shannon
Leigh Photography uses high quality equipment for their photographic
and videography services. In the event of inclement weather, we, at
our own discretion, will determine if the conditions are safe for the
equipment's exposure to such weather. Keep in mind that we use
expensive equipment that may be sensitive to specific weather
conditions. The fact that we specialize in beach wedding photography
already exposes our equipment to humid salty air on a frequent basis.
Further risking the equipment with inclement weather is not our
practice. Should the weather prohibit us from using our digital SLR
cameras, even with our protective weather hoods, we may opt to use our
point-and-shoot digital cameras. Our "backup" equipment is still of a
very high quality 9 megapixel resolution with the same optical
capacity of our digital SLR.
For our
videography services, we will also substitute our high end equipment
with a more standard "backup" video camera in the event of inclement
weather.
Shannon
Leigh Photography is not responsible for the outcome of any
photographic or videography service due to weather, up to and
including, our decision to cancel the session due to such conditions.
We will make every effort possible to provide an alternative regarding
rescheduling or alternate location shoot. We are also not responsible
for photographic and/or videography equipment malfunctions or
failures. For this reason we try to provide sufficient backup
resources in the way of spare equipment at the site.
Delivering Our Products
Shannon
Leigh Photography will deliver all client products directly to its
clients using specific timelines.
Photographic services, including
photo editing services, may take 3 weeks to deliver from the time the
photos are processed and placed online.
Videography services follow a different timeline.
Video
services where only raw footage is being purchased will be delivered 2
weeks from the event date.
Video
services requiring editing, will be delivered 3 to 4 weeks from the
event date.
Our
delivery timelines represent working time and not the timeline by
which the product will arrive at the client's location. In other
words, when we say a product will be delivered in 2 weeks, it means we
will have up to 2 weeks to work on the product and place it in the
mail at the end of that 2 week timeline. Rush services are also
available upon request at an additional cost.
We ship
all our products (i.e. photos, videos, etc...) via the carrier of our
choice. We typically use Priority Mail with delivery confirmation from
the United States Postal Service. Rush deliveries often use FedEx, UPS
or DHL.
We
carefully package all products for delivery and maintain an excellent
record of ensuring that everything arrives at our client's site in
perfect condition. Yet, we are not responsible for the condition of
the product's arrival, as it is handled through the carrier.
